One concern about the Jack Russell is the position of their ears. According to the standard, Jack Russell 's ears are semi-falls or falls forward covering the ear canal, good texture and great mobility. However, it is very common that as it grows, folds appear in their ears, and they are bent asymmetrically. They can even go up until they lift fully erect.
For dogs submitted to competitions, actually this would be a fault due to the fact of going against the standard . However, in our day-to-day, for our Jack is not harmful this uprising or asymmetrical ears fold . So if this is your case, no need to worry .
On the other hand we have the aesthetic issue . In our view, they are most beautiful floppy ears V -shaped and symmetrical, but Pinon, our puppy left ear was beginning to fold in a somewhat strange , so we decided to correct it by the simplest home method and safe for him: to put a plaster on the inside of the ear. We show how we have done, because it actually works.
